DECONSTRUCTION & RECYCLING

Denver and surrounding cities in Colorado are leaning into and requiring recycling on construction jobsites. Merchant Demolition is dedicated to understanding and helping with those requirements. We can help provide reuse and recycling plans, demolition and deconstruction services, and handle material sorting and transportation.

DENVER:

Waste No More requires nearly all construction and demolition projects to separate and recycle, at a minimum, all readily recyclable concrete, asphalt, clean wood, scrap metal, and corrugated cardboard. As of June 1, 2023, all projects will need to submit a recycling and reuse plan to the city to confirm compliance with the ordinance prior to obtaining a construction or demolition permit.”

These changes will reduce waste in landfills and promote recycling, which Merchant Demolition is pleased to be a small part in repurposing and seeing the future impact on our environment.
