Denver and surrounding cities in Colorado are leaning into and requiring recycling on construction jobsites. Merchant Demolition is dedicated to understanding and helping with those requirements. DENVER:
“Waste No More requires nearly all construction and demolition projects to separate and recycle, at a minimum, all readily recyclable concrete, asphalt, clean wood, scrap metal, and corrugated cardboard. As of June 1, 2023, all projects will need to submit a recycling and reuse plan to the city to confirm compliance with the ordinance prior to obtaining a construction or demolition permit.”
These changes will reduce waste in landfills and promote recycling, which Merchant Demolition is pleased to be a small part in repurposing and seeing the future impact on our environment.
